Rbrand Beauty Lip Gloss Poppy - Review, Swatches

Some days back I was sent a couple of products from the brand Rbrand Beauty all the way from the U.S and in this post, I will share my thoughts on Poppy, a lip gloss from the Sugar Lips collection. Before going into the review, here is some information about the brand.

Rbrand Beauty Lip Gloss Poppy

Rbrand Beauty captures the fearless, confident style of its Creator, Terri Ray. The line embodies the spirit of this risk-taking Hollywood stuntwoman who has been in ACTION lighting up the world for years. From setting more than 7 world records as a Factory Kawasaki Team Rider and leaving the sport an unbroken title holder in 1994, to jumping ship in the world renowned motion picture TITANIC, this SAVVY woman is now taking the beauty industry by storm with her signature sophisticated edge. She embodies what it means to be an Rbrand woman through her edgy sophisticated glamour, grace and movie star confidence!

Rbrand Beauty knows that no matter how fearless or strong a woman may be, she still wants to be beautiful. Rbrand allows that beauty to shine through allowing her to be transparent but not invisible. Rbrand is the undeniable essence of a woman Unforgettable, Unshakeable, Unstoppable!

I was sent the shade Poppy from the Sugar Lips collection. These lip glosses boasts of long lasting lip color and the non sticky formula contains vitamins A,C, and E.

Price: $28

I am a complete shimmer, shine and sparkle loving girl so I really love the blingey packaging of the gloss. The cap is covered in rhinestones so when you take out the gloss in public, it is definitely going to attract attention and in a good way. I am usually not too fond of strong fragrance is makeup but this strawberry milkshake like smell I quite like. It is not too strong but strong enough to make you crave for a milkshake!

Poppy is a purple plum shade with silver shimmer and even though the color looks quite dark in the tube, on the lips it applies sheer. I like that the shimmer particles are not gritty so they don't feel uncomfortable on the lips and the gloss itself goes on quite smooth. No sticky feeling at all. I also like that the gloss is not heavy and not super shiny. I've never been fond of very shiny lips so it works for me perfect. The gloss wears for around two hours but since it goes on sheer, I usually layer it on top of a lipstick to increase the wear time.

While I'm happy with the performance of the lip gloss, the price is definitely a bummer. For me, it is too high and should have been priced around the $20 mark. I don't think the brand delivers outside the U.S, but if you want to check it out, click this link.

P.S - PR Sample. Honest review.
